Dundee Township Historical Society Collections

The display of our collections changes each season to give residents the best opportunity to be introduced to different facets of our local heritage in an ongoing manner. One of our permanent exhibits features Alan Pinkerton.

Our collection contains books, documents, pictures, slides, probate records, newspapers, and census records. We have source material from local writers: Irma Dupre, Vi Rouley, Fred Holmes, a complete microfilm record of the Dundee Hawkeye newspaper from 1890 to 1916, an extensive collection of Illinois Iron and Bolt ledger books, information and books on Alan Pinkerton, local genealogies and much more.
